Best steak salad I have ever had. Our waitress was super nice too.
The Absolute Very Best Diner in Utah or Idaho. Whenever I know I'm going to get to Stop & Eat at Mollie's, I know it's a Great Day
Excellent food and service. Must stop again. Homemade pies with real Ingredients and hand cut fries, etc. You get the point. Do t miss 'em
I give this a 3 star. Two for the food. Can pie filling. Taste like can. And a ribeye that was over cooked and tasted old. One star added because the people were pretty cool and they have truck parking.
Absolutely delicious steak. Great home style cooking.
Just ate here on my way to twin falls. Loved the prices. I hate paying 4.99 or similar for a kids mac and cheese. Here I payed 1.50 for a kids mac and cheese and it even came with a side. Kids corn dog and a side was 3.25. Great portion sizes. Great environment. Wasn't the cleanest but felt like you were at your grandparents, it was warm and welcoming. I loved the sides, we had a salad (ranch and beets were delicious, it was just iceberg lettuce but was ok with me), onion rings, and fries. The only thing I didn't like was my main dish and my husband didn't care for it either. It was the steak sandwich. Which was really just steak and toast but I didn't like either. But I'm definitely going to come here again and try a different main menu item since all my kids loved it and I loved the sides. Seriously though, this restaurant feels like home... good vibes... give it a try.
I'm only giving 4 stars because I've been to five star restaurants. This is a great place to eat and compared to other restaurants in its league, they don't come better. Great food. Great service. Outstanding diner food. Hungry and in the area, highly recommended.
Great portions, Got the half chicken salad and it was still huge. Service was great
Awesome helping of food, good service nice place and Truck parking cool.
The food quality is very poor i wont be back also lots of Flys flying around major germ facility
Most important to me when patronizing an establishment is the customer service. It was severely lacking here. To be fair, we did walk in the door 10 minutes before closing but that said, we ordered our food to go. My husband asked a simple question, “do you serve breakfast all day?” The lady (who we assumed was the owner) replied, “I am not making pancakes after serving hamburgers all day!” We wound up ordering a sandwich (which was decent), a piece of pie (which was terrible, tasted like it had been sitting for quite some time) and a vanilla shake (which was good minus the employee’s loud complaining about the ice cream being “hard as a rock!” Do yourself a favor and find another place, it’s just not worth it.
Absolutely delicious food and huge portions. I have 2 full meals in one.
Delicious food, great service and worth the price for the amount of food.😋 Always visit when on our way home from Sun Valley.
Classic diner, good food. It does feel, however, that COVID is not thing here. Stopped by while passing through town and was the only one (including the employees) in the building wearing a mask.
A great down home restaurant, food is great.
There was no a/c and it was an older building. The food was delicious and very filling. The French fries are fresh. We will go back.
Nice place to stop during travels with ample parking for a travel trailer. Nice small town feel and great customer service. Portions are HUGE and the food is freshly prepared and delicious! We had the chicken fried steak, hash browns, and eggs. The breading on the chicken fried steak was unique and quite scrumptious!
Great food and the best place to eat Breakfast there bacon is some of the best in the country. And the service is Awesome
Nice local place. Country cooking. Old fashioned diner feel friendly folks great service
Vegetable beef soup had been slow cooked to perfection. But the homemade roll on the side served warm was like heaven. Side salad was standard but definitely fresh. Couldn’t leave without trying the homemade cinnamon roll—-even bigger than the pictures show and served warm on a bed of warm icing and melted butter. I can not wait for an excuse to come back to this old but charming diner!
Really nice old 50 Style Cafe the employees are nice. I had biscuits and gravy never again they were pretty disgusting although I didn't have anything else. The gravy was literally like paste and no flavor I think it could have been put on with a spatula.
Great steak. Fresh cut fries. Soup of the day was very tasty. Waitress was cute and friendly but is moving to Texas soon. Better get her while you can.
Food was good, nothing amazing but filled us up and had no complaints. Prices were fair. The service was good and the atmosphere pleasant. Truck parking was what brought us in. Would stop again if in the area. Only star minus was the charge to pay with card. Otherwise was a good experience.
Cute vintage cafe. Old but clean. The soup was delicious, I ordered chicken friend steak but it tasted weird (gravy on my mashed potato was yummy tho) they willingly offered to replace my food, I got meat omelette and i liked it a lot.
The food is excellent, the service is always friendly and the price is fair. I got ham and eggs and the ham steak was a whole meal in itself. The decor is exactly what you expect in a small town diner. They have room for a couple of trucks and there's a flying J a block away.
The outside looks a little sketchy, and the inside decor is pretty old and worn. That being said, it is clean, the service is fantastic, and the food is good. A nice little oasis on your way to wherever you’re going. Highly recommend!..... and as I’m writing this, they just brought my toddler and I some complimentary strawberry ice cream! I mean seriously, how cute are these guys??
Was told 15 minutes for our takeout order. 90 minutes later, the car that arrived 10 minutes after us had dined in and left. The mozzarella sticks had no dipping sauce and were solid and cold. The fries were greasy and cold. No apology, sense of urgency, or concern that we weren't being helped. The employee was more interested in talking to her family that came to visit.
Not many options in this small town but has okay food. Super cheap! Only paid $16 for 2 adults.
I have not ever given 5 stars before, but my experience here is deserving of them. Molly’s offers savory, diner food in hearty portions. Compliments to the cook, the brown gravy on the open faced hot beef sandwich and mashed potato’s was so so good! Better than grandma used to make. And the service, I have to say was better than I have received in such a long time; she offered refill coffee and ice teas to go. A small gesture but that is what put my review from 4 stars (highest I’ve ever given), to 5. Keep up the great work Molly’s cafe!
First time for me was excellent 👍 chicken fried steak was huge, tender and delicious.. portion sizes are super large... Don't miss the vegetable beef soup bowl appetizer... Practically a meal itself... Service is friendly and prices are low... Can I give 6 stars???
Great sandwich, I asked for a BLT no cheese and it was marvelous, a life saver on my long trip. The decorations are awesome too, almost like a time capsule
Good food, good service, truck parking in the back, had the Meat Omelet 👍
This place was great. Food was very tasty, staff was friendly. Great location right off the freeway also. We will definitely be back when we travel by again.
Outstanding 👍😀👌🏽but be careful because you might hurt yourself,Trying To eat up everything!!
Great food! Perfect for a quick lunch on a long drive. The Patty melt is delicious with the onion rings and a cold chocolate malt.
Great comfort food! From the bacon cheeseburger to my chili cheeseburger and homemade fries. Then homemade blueberry pie for desert. Everything was great including the very friendly staff!!! We'll be back on our next trip.
Nice little cafe, sweet staff...truck parking in rear...
This place has great food, but gravely disappointed at being turned away at 7:15 pm when sign on door says hours open til 8pm. It’s hard to find good food on the road as a truck driver. This is one of our favorite places, but guess we are gonna have to find a new place.
Wow, great food, tons of it, great prices. Old and shabby on the inside and out, but the food makes the stop totally worth it. Took home a full homemade apple pie.
Small Town Diner. Small Town atmosphere. Semi Parking. Always worth the stop.
Walked in Mollie's expecting a quiet little diner. Instead, the place was packed to the gills. Apparently there was a music festival nearby and a bunch of the festival-goers were stopping in for a meal. Staff was clearly busy but they kept their cool and filled orders as quickly as they could. A credit to their work and professionalism. Oh, and the chicken fried steak was on-point too! Will def stop by if I'm ever in the area.
Friendly and good service. Just had their roast beef special, it was great. Generous portions would stop again when I'm passing through the area.
It was either another truck stop meal or stroll down the street to get some TASTY grub...Very rustic and "homey" vibe...IF you're rolling through northern Utah... make the stop!
I stop here regularly when traveling through. I'm never disappointed. Food is great, and staff is friendly.
I've been going to mollies since I was a child always great food and people!!
Me and my friends are having an existential crisis for feeling so at home yet so out of place at the same time. The food was MASSIVE, it was really good though. Thoroughly enjoyed it, although it felt like I needed a stretcher to get out. If you’ve ever wanted to go to a diner just to feel what the 1960’s were like, this is your place. It almost felt like a commercial for Coca Cola.A man prayed for a newly married couple there, then talked about airplanes for what felt like years while his children played in a bathroom labeled “cowgirls”. At some point throughout your stay here you will start to question whether or not this place, the people in it, and yourself are real. I’m sure if I went back to this restaurant it wouldn’t be there, just an empty lot. But I enjoyed it.
We stopped at Mollie's on our way back home and the food was phenomenal. The onion rings that I ordered were easily the best onion rings I had in years. The patty melt was absolutely delicious. I can't give the food enough praise because it was such a great experience. As other reviewers have noted the building is older but I thought it added to the charm, and I didn't have any negative feelings from it. The staff was very kind and welcoming. I enjoyed how they would just have normal conversations with the patrons.Great place to eat.
I can NOT say enough great things about Mollies!! Semi parkingGreat service Homemade breads and cinnamon rolls The male cook makes one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten!! Large portions Great prices!! It’s a must stop on every trip I make!!! Some times I wait for them to open , and I never wait for anywhere to open lol love Mollies!!
So so so much better than I expected. Staff was awesome, food was plentiful and delicious. So happy we came across this gem.
Food was good, nice sized meals, pricing was fair. About a block from the truck stop. Staff was nice and easy going, place was a little run down.
